Good Life Good Death expo Townsville
What a success! The free 2-day expo had over 400 attendees, 35 exhibitors, 20 expert speakers and 10 volunteers. Over 240 people attended the educational sessions.
A feature of the expo was the Compassionate Communities area where expert speakers, exhibitors, volunteers and the community came together for open conversations about life, death and everything in between!
Palliative Care Queensland also took the opportunity to host an invite-only Roundtable with key local stakeholders to discuss key challenges and opportunities for Palliative Care in Aged Care in Townsville. This was well attended and facilitated an ongoing dialogue between services and community whilst providing vital networking opportunities for those who joined.
